Eligibility	A person who qualifies for one of the following criteria shall be eligible to join the M.A. Without Research in French two years Programme: (i) Qualified examination for B.A. (Hons. in French) or B.A. (Hons. in French with Research) with at least 45% marks in the subject of Postgraduate course or 50% marks in aggregate under the NEP-2020 based FYUP framework being run by the Panjab University or any other UGC recognized Indian/foreign University for admission to M.A. without Research in French programme. OR (ii) Qualified examination for B.A. in French under the NEP-2020 based FYUP framework with at least 45% marks in the subject of Postgraduate course or 50% marks in aggregate being run at Panjab University or any other UGC recognized Indian/foreign University for admission to M.A. without Research in French two-year programme. OR (iii) Passed a three-year B.A. (Hons.in French)/B.A. in French examination with at least 45% marks in the subject of Postgraduate course or 50% marks in aggregate from the Panjab University under 10+2+3 system of education of recognized University/Board/Council or any other examination recognized by the Panjab University. OR (iv) Passed B.A./B.A.(Hons.) in French examination under Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) with at least 45% marks in the subject of Postgraduate course or 50% marks in aggregate and earning at least 24 credits in a Generic Elective (GE)/Multi-disciplinary/minor Course (French) in the B.A./B.A. (Hons.) in French Course shall also be deemed sufficient to satisfy a requirement for admission to the two years M.A. without Research in French. In case the candidate falls short of 24 credits, he/she may appear for additional Courses in the subject at UG level to qualify the 24 credits requirements. OR (v) The Candidate who have Bachelor’s degree in any subject with 50% marks and have qualified C1 DALF Certificate would be allowed to take admission in M.A French without Research Two Year Programme. OR (vi) The Candidate who have Bachelor’s degree in any subject with 50% marks and have qualified advanced diploma in French with 45% marks would be allowed to take admission in M.A. Without Research in French Two Year Programme. Note: Earning 144 credits in Major course (French Language) in the B.A./B.A. (Hons.) programme shall be deemed sufficient to satisfy a requirement for admission to the two-year M.A. Without Research French. Note: Earning 192 credits in Major course (French Language) in the B.A./B.A. (Hons.) with Research programme shall be deemed sufficient to satisfy a requirement for admission to the two-year M.A. Without Research Programme.
